Happy Hacktoberfest 2020š„³
Itās October already!
Most of us are coping up with the fact that it was just March a few days back and now we are in October. October is famous for Halloween, dressing up in costumes and ātrick-and-treatā.
For geeks, however, October brings Hacktoberfest. Hacktoberfest is a yearly event organized by DigitalOcean. Hacktoberfest is all about contributions and open-source. Being a full-time Linux user and enthusiast and an open-source supporter, I participated in it last year and I will be participating in it this year too. Anyway, this post is not about Open Source and stuff. I am writing this post to help tech newbies participate and win T-shirts and other swags.
First of all log on to my GitHub repository at https://github.com/Faranheit15/Hacktoberfest-2020. I have added the instructions very clearly in the Readme file.
After registering, all you have to do is to make 4 Pull Requests and youāre good to go.
Happy Hacking!
